Echo Bluff canoe and camp, July, 2019.

July 28-31, 2019.  Camping with Rita at this beautiful campground in our trailer.  Enjoyed a nice day canoe float with folks from the Lee's Summit Christian Church on Monday.  We enjoyed the young families and children as we floated from Akers Ferry to Pultite.  Nice warm cloudy day.

Tent camp and canoe, June 2019

June 19-21, 2019. Nice short float trip on the Niangua River (Bennett Springs to Corkery).  With the wet spring, the river was moving right along.  Camped two nights at Maggard's in my old tent.  Beautiful weather, perfect float!

5-22-18 Rita and I enjoyed a wonderful canoe trip down the lower Buffalo River.  We put in at the Highway 14 bridge and floated to Rush.  Warm and sunny day with plenty of solitude and nature.  Wild Bill's Canoe Outfitters treated us very well.  We enjoyed four days of camping at Buffalo Point Campground.  We also visited the historic ghost town at Rush and time to just sit and read along the river.

Alley Spring day

September 26, 2017  Alley Springs to Eminence on the Jack's Fork River.  Wonderful day for a float.  It was warm but not hot.  Rita and I was staying at the Alley Springs Campground.  Many late summer flowers along to edges of the river.  Floated with Harvey's Canoe, very friendly and accommodating.  It was interesting to see and hear how the flood earlier this spring affected so many things.  A float during the fall and on a weekday is so peacefilled.

Bennett Springs

June 28, 2017.  Single float today (Niangua below Bennette) while Rita hung out at the camper.  Very quiet and enjoyable.  With all the rain this spring the vegetation was quite green!  Prater Spring Branch was especially beautiful.

Niangua

10-7-16 We floated the Niangua from Fort Niangua to NRO.  Nice float.  We were camping at Pome de Terre.

Current River 10-23-16

10-23-16 beautiful float from Pulltite to Round Springs.  Mild fall weather, many colors.  My favorite river!
