Alley Spring day

September 26, 2017  Alley Springs to Eminence on the Jack's Fork River.  Wonderful day for a float.  It was warm but not hot.  Rita and I was staying at the Alley Springs Campground.  Many late summer flowers along to edges of the river.  Floated with Harvey's Canoe, very friendly and accommodating.  It was interesting to see and hear how the flood earlier this spring affected so many things.  A float during the fall and on a weekday is so peacefilled.

Bennett Springs

June 28, 2017.  Single float today (Niangua below Bennette) while Rita hung out at the camper.  Very quiet and enjoyable.  With all the rain this spring the vegetation was quite green!  Prater Spring Branch was especially beautiful. 

Niangua

10-7-16 We floated the Niangua from Fort Niangua to NRO.  Nice float.  We were camping at Pome de Terre.

Current River 10-23-16

10-23-16 beautiful float from Pulltite to Round Springs.  Mild fall weather, many colors.  My favorite river!

Canoe upper Niangua

5-26-16 Canoed on the Niangua River from Moon Valley to Riverside Campground just above Bennett Springs State Park.  Water was swift and murky.  The afternoon was beautiful with clouds and sun.  Only a few people were floating.  Plenty of turtles sunning and birds singing.  Rita and I camped at Bennett Springs State Park.
